Housing for tourist use in the international context. Regulatory visions in the cities of San Francisco, New York, London, Berlin and Amsterdam

The phenomenon of houses for tourist use has generated in recent years an abundant doctrinal treatment in Spain from various points of view. However, the lack of studies that analyse this problem beyond our borders is appreciated. At a time when vacation rentals have been connected to the urban sphere and with their impact on the residential rental market, it is interesting to go to the international arena to account for how various cities have faced these problems. To this end, various cases will be analysed, specifically those of San Francisco, New York, London, Berlin and Amsterdam.
