Social protection of teaching and research staff at the service of the university

The teacher provided the service of the University has a number of peculiarities in employment and health, which are directly affected by the constitutionally recognized university autonomy.
Our interest is stopped to analyze what are the areas in which this group is an adequate level of social protection with eco State proclaimed in Article 1 of the Constitution, and therefore much more satisfactory guarantor of the rights protected by the social actions legally recognized.
From this methodological approach, we provide an overview of the different areas that can be projected on the social protection of IDPs starting with the very provision of educational services; but also identify more sensitive to social protection areas, some of which are specific to the POI Universities and others are common to all public employees.
In addition, systematic exposure allows the system to show the difficulties of sources in this area, characterized by a specific regulatory framework, notwithstanding the variety of positions that university autonomy allows mainly by the regulatory power granted to each university.
