The present work contains an approximation of set to the Spanish system of territorial autonomies that tries to identify and to measure adequately the diverse objections or critical aspects that the same one provokes in his current stadium of configuration and functioning: a stadium marked undoubtedly by the approval of the new Bylaws of Autonomy during the past Legislature (2004-2008). After examining separately different disfunctional aspects of the system as well as some risks that hover over it (paragraph II ), there are formulated a series of offers and considerations with a view to a stable and balanced configuration of our territorial model (paragraph III ).
