The XVII Italo-Spanish Congress of Administrative Law Professors was held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zaragoza from October 23 to 25, 2008. Organized alternately by Italian and Spanish universities since 1966, this event focused on two main themes: water law, analyzed from a territorial and climate change perspective, and current issues in Administrative Law.
The congress featured distinguished professors from both countries and was inaugurated by academic authorities from the University of Zaragoza. Sessions included presentations and debates exploring topics such as water management and its interaction with sectoral policies like environmental protection. Additionally, the importance of delving into dogmatic aspects of Administrative Law was emphasized. During the closing session, new presidents were elected for both sections of the Association, and the University of Bologna was announced as the host for the next edition in 2010.
