The interest of the powers public by the urban rehabilitation seems to have resurged once stated the impossibility to maintain model of untenable urban growth that came being developed until recent dates.
This increasing interest is appraised mainly in the city-planning legislation, since the norms on promotion and financing of the actions of rehabilitation and the successive plans of the house have come maintained their use or have been replaced by other similars with character periodic. Nevertheless this new approach in the city-planning treatment of the rehabilitation is appraised in the state Law of Suelo 8/2007 of 28 of May, that del shows in its exhibition of reasons the preoccupation to consolidate a model of sustainable development urban that also have been made echo the autonomic laws, that have dictated norms of adaptation of their city-planning legislation to the forecasts of the state Law. From the point of view of these considerations, it is possible to speak of a return to the urban rehabilitation.
