Cannabis clubs and the regulation of therapeutic cannabis

The legal situation of cannabis has generated an interesting debate in Spain. The consumption of cannabis by adults, in the private sphere, whether for recreational reasons or for therapeutic reasons, is increasingly common. This has led to the identification of a social current that advocates breaking down the barriers of cannabis prohibition in favor of the establishment of regulation that provides legal certainty. The consideration of cannabis as a narcotic substance has greatly hindered this opening, a fact that is being modulated through research that demonstrates different therapeutic uses. With this, the present study tries to analyze these aspects, especially those related to the consumption and action of cannabis clubs, as well as the regulatory framework for the therapeutic use of cannabis.
