General outlines of the preliminary draft of the new Law on Public Employment of Aragón

Abstract

This article is intended to serve as a general introduction of the whole monograph, which briefly describes the outline of the Draft Law on Public Employment of Aragon. We present a brief description of the main strands of the draft legislation such as the incorporation into the draft of a new system of coordination and intergovernmental cooperation in public employment Aragon, the inclusion in the scope of Local Government, the necessary renovation of the civil service structure, the development of a new administrative career system or the creation of a professional public management level. In this brief study explores the motivations that have guided the entire process of the aforementioned Draft, an involved process that had as their principal aim the necessary updating of a regulation must serve the challenges facing public employment of Aragon in the coming decades, modernizing the momentum provided by the Basic Statute for Civil Servants.
